Culver City Salads is a little salad truck that prides itself on providing nutritious and delicious food to Downtown Vancouver's business district.
But the no-waste plant based company felt that something was amiss. Most food trucks, including Culver City Salads, run off gas-powered generators, which doesn’t fit within their model of sustainability.
The solution? Solar panels.
Through an Indigogo campaign, the Culver City Salad team - Christina Culver, Sarah Culver, and Jesse Savath - raised $20,000 for solar panels, clean batteries, and new fridges. Expect to see the new additions to the truck soon!
