Vancouver’s iconic Hawksworth Restaurant comes to West Hastings Street.
Culinary visionary David Hawksworth is set to open a new location late 2015. Hawksworth has announced the soon to be completed MNP Tower at 1021 West Hastings as the location for the new establishment.
The restaurant will echo the ingredient-forward, locally sourced essence of the original Hawksworth Restaurant in the Georgia Hotel, but will feature a more laid-back atmosphere that will cater to the casual and business crowd alike. The pricing will reflect the casual atmosphere. With a prominent long bar as the focal point, and a 120 person dining area, the ambiance will play on the building’s heritage. DVBIA President and CEO Charles Gauthier speaks positively about what Hawksworth will bring to West Hastings. “A stand-alone restaurant in this location is going to be a game changer in the neighbourhood”, Gauthier says.
With a 2500 square foot kitchen and high-profile chef David Hawksworth holding the reins, we can hardly wait to taste the mouth-watering creations that are sure to be on the menu.
